Medical and Dental Referrals - With a worldwide network of pre-selected providers, AXA Assistance’s medical professionals and assistance coordinators are able to refer members to the most appropriate facility or provider and ensure they are getting the care they need.
Emergency Medical Evacuation - When adequate medical facilities are not available locally, AXA Assistance’s medical professionals will recommend and arrange the appropriate method of transportation, equipment and personnel to evacuate members to the nearest facility capable of providing proper care.
Medical Repatriation - If a member needs to return to his or her place of residence, AXA Assistance will arrange for transportation and an escort, if needed, to travel home safely.
Dispatch of Medication, Eyeglasses or Documents - If a member forgets or loses prescription medication, eyeglasses or important documents, AXA Assistance will assist with shipping or making arrangements to replace the items.
Pre-Trip Information - Before a member travels, AXA Assistance can provide information about visa, passport, immunization requirements and local customs. Members can also obtain 24-hour pre-departure information on weather, currency or holidays.
