Health Assistance Services How can AXA Assistance help me should I fall ill while traveling?

Dispatch of U.S. Doctor or Specialist:

For the convenience of the beneficiary, AXA Assistance USA will make arrangements for a general practice physician to consult the cardmember’s hotel or current location while traveling.  Although AXA Assistance USA will make every effort, this service is not available in all states and countries. If a physician cannot be dispatched, other arrangements will be made by AXA Assistance USA and options will be offered to the beneficiary.

Medical house calls to patients:

If a beneficiary is unable to visit a medical facility due to illness, AXA Assistance USA will arrange for a doctor to make a house call to the beneficiary’s location for examination. 

Visitor to bedside:

When a cardmember is traveling alone and is hospitalized for more than seven consecutive days, at the cardmember’s request, AXA Assistance will make travel arrangements for a family member, friend or other person designated by the cardmember to join the cardmember at the place of hospitalization.
