August 11th 2007 My husband and I were completely and 100% impressed with the service provided... Loosing luggage on our vacation was very stressful and prior to contacting Alexis, we spent at least two worthless hours on the phone with Delta. Customer service at Delta was poor and this of course added to our frustration. Finally, we received a tip from the concierge to contact travel assistance provided by my credit card. We were delighted to speak to such a friendly and knowledgeable employee... She took control of the situation and told me to relax and this was more than I could ask for. Within the hour, Alexis called me back and gave me updates on information that Delta told me was impossible to obtain. I was blown away by her details and at the same time, she was making me laugh with her humor. We contacted Alexis in the afternoon and by dinner, I had my bag! The best part of the story is that she called me right after the deliveryman dropped off my luggage just to say, “I didn’t want to go home until I knew you had your bag”. That was candles on the cake of my service experience. As recruitment strategy manager, I know how difficult it is to hire quality employees.
